How it all began
The Fraternity of Delta Omega Epsilon was founded on April 15, 1985 by Brother Richard Pelestri and Brother Sal Leone along with 25 other brothers and sisters on the campus of The College of Staten Island. Delta Omega Epsilon was the first fraternity to be charted at this school. We were a co-ed (farority) Greek Organization. We were established to form a family, something that reaches beyond that of a friendship.
In 1991, Delta Omega Epsilon went inactive. At this time Brother George Zapantis was the president. In 1994, Delta Omega Epsilon was re-established as a Fraternity, and has established 8 Chapters throughout New York State.
